Mississippi River at Pepin is now at the 2014 level. Many boats moved up to 1st Street. More on the way. Marina has detached E dock and T dock from their pilings - allowing them to float free as we get 30mph winds out of the south with ice and a break wall under water. No protection.
Hoping that the ice breaks up soon and that we do not reach the record level of the 1965 flood at 22.2' So far Mother Nature has been helping out with freezing at night to slow the snow melt. Forecast is for 18' by Saturday. Anyone's guess after that. Will keep you posted.
